Las Vegas at Night

Welcome to the A to Z Recipes Las Vegas Bling!

Our annual gathering this year will be in Las Vegas, NV and is scheduled for one week (Tuesday, September 21st through Monday, September 27th, 2010). We have rented a lovely house which is the home base for our gathering. We are still finalizing plans but intend to take in a few sights during our visit. The following is a tentative outline of our schedule:

Tuesday, September 21, we check in the house at 3:00pm. We will have dinner at the house and maybe hit the casinos for some late-night action!.
Wednesday, September 22, we will visit The Strip and take in the casinos and see the area.
Las Vegas Day

Las Vegas Daytime
Thursday, September 23rd, we will take a bus tour of the Grand Canyon and visit Hoover Dam. Those not attending the tour may sight-see or enjoy the pool, sauna, and entertainment room at the house.
Grand Canyon South Rim

Hoover Dam
Friday, September 24th, we will
have an open day and eat dinner at the house.
Saturday, September 25th, we will have a meal as a group where everyone is invited to attend. We're not sure yet of location.
Sunday, September 26th, we will have an open day. Some may care to visit the casinos on The Strip but an evening meal will be prepared at the house for those interested.
Monday, September 27th, we will make a trip to the casinos and pack bags and make sure the house is left as we found it.
Tuesday, September 28th, we will check out of the house no later than 10:00 a.m.

If you are interested in joining us, please send me an email and I will let you know if there is room for you at the house, or perhaps find someone interested in sharing expenses of a hotel room with you.

As is the case in all A to Z Recipes gatherings, there is no extra cost to you beyond your personal expenses. If you stay at the house, the cost is evenly distributed amongst attendees. That amount is determined by the total number who stay. There is no possibility of rental fees being more than $300pp for the week. The cost of groceries will be divided up in the same manner.
Anyone attending the annual gathering is free to come and go as they please. They can stay at the house, stay in a hotel or with family & friends; join in the planned functions, or not. Meals at the house are for those who are participating in the cost of the house (or sharing in the food expenses).

I look forward to hearing from you!
Maggie
