CABBAGE SOUP DIET
If you have a special occasion coming up, or you simply need to lose weight fast, the Cabbage Soup Diet may be just what you're looking for. If followed exactly,
you can lose 10 pounds in a week.
Although not suitable for long-term weight loss, the Cabbage Soup Diet is a low-fat, high-fiber diet that will help you get into shape fast before you embark on a
more moderate long-term eating plan.
Pros and Cons of the Cabbage Soup Diet
Pros: You'll lose weight fast, and can get as much of the foods listed in the program as you want. Although the diet is only for seven days (and shouldn't be adhered
to for longer), it provides a great "kick-start" for a more moderate diet.
Cons: Some people find the soup bland. Some people have reported feeling light-headed, weak, and have suffered from decreased concentration (although some who
have been affected in this way felt it was well worth it, since it was only for a week and they had lost considerable weight).
Seven Keys to Success
-Follow the diet religiously.
-Drink at least 8 glasses of water per day
-Keep in mind that it's only seven days
-Compliment the diet with a good multivitamin tablet
-Print the information on this page so you can refer to it daily
-Eat plenty of soup - as much as you want! Do not try to starve yourself or you'll probably cheat and break the diet
-Try different spices to liven up the soup and add variety

Cabbage Soup Recipe
The cabbage soup can be eaten at any time you feel hungry during the day, and you can eat as much as you wish as often as you like.
Ingredients:
6 Large Green Onions
2 Green Peppers
2 carrots
1-2 Cans Diced Tomatoes
1 Bunch Celery
1 Package Lipton Onion Soup Mix
1-2 Cubes of Bullion (if desired)
1 head cabbage
Cut vegetables into small pieces and cover with water. (V-8 juice and water can be used, I use the spicy V-8 for extra flavor). Boil fast for 10 minutes. Reduce to simmer and continue cooking until vegetables are tender. Season to taste with salt,
pepper, parsley, etc. EAT AS MUCH AS YOU WANT WHENEVER YOU WANT ANY TIME OF THE DAY.

Mix Days One and Two: Eat all the soup, fruits and vegetables you want. NO BAKED POTATO.

broiled fish for the beef one one of the beef days (but not both).
